ABOUT

Kristin Heil
Graphic Designer / Photographer
Based in Dayton, OH

Hello, and thank you for stopping by! I have been a creative individual for as long as I can remember. My mom used to gift me with arts and crafts kits when I was younger and it stuck with me. I furthered this love of being creative while I attended the Ohio State University where I majored in Atmospheric Science, and minored in Photography.

I worked as a school photographer for a few years and felt the need to learn more creative skills. This drive landed me at Sinclair Community College where I earned an Associates Degree in Visual Communications in 2018. I loved the skills I gained with this program and wanted to learn more! The next step in this creative journey was Wright State University.

At Wright State I continued working on illustration and photography while learning new applications for these skills. One of my favorite courses where these skills were utilized was package design. This was a very eye opening course because I learned how important package design is to the success of the product, and how the positioning at stores also influences sales. I completed the program and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies in Graphic and Multimedia Design in 2021.

Besides being creative, I enjoy spending time with my family and fur babies. I have two dogs Sully and Frank. They keep me on my toes and keep me laughing. I love traveling and spend my time visiting mountain towns and beaches. I love experiencing new places and researching new things. I look forward to continuing my design and photography skills and hope to help clients express themselves to the fullest.
